Japan Craft Inspection Organization (JCI)

JCI provides craft safety inspections and registration based on the Japanese Craft Registration Law to protect the interests of boat owners and facilitate sound marine leisure activities. For more information, visit JCI on line.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 163 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland. ABYC logoAmerican Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC)

ABYC researches, develops, reviews and publishes manufacturing and service standards for the boating industry and oversees a comprehensive education program which includes seminars, workshops, Marine Technician Certification program, and standards accreditation.  Learn more at: www.abycinc.org

National Marine Safety Committee – Australia

NMSC is an intergovernmental committee that is charged with achieving national uniform marine safety practices in Australia. The NMSC publishes boating safety standards for both recreational and commercial crafts.
