Outboard Engine Shipments up Six Percent through February
The February Monthly Shipment Report (MSR), an exclusive NMMA report on wholesale shipments, is now available. U.S. outboard engine wholesale shipments for NMMA’s control group of manufacturers, which represent 95 percent of the market, grew by 6.1 percent for the twelve months through February 2017. Gains were led by 4-strokes and higher-powered engines. Corresponding dollars were up 9.4 percent.
