July MSR: Traditional powerboat shipments up 8 percent
According to NMMA's Monthly Shipment Report (MSR), total powerboat wholesale shipments were up 8 percent through July (YTD) based on NMMA's control group of manufacturers representing 77 percent of the powerboat market.
Wholesale shipments were up for most segments. Outboard boats were up 6% YTD overall while PWCs were up 11% YTD. These two categories comprise the majority (nearly 90%) of new boat sales in terms of volume.
