North Carolina Voters Affirm the Right to Fish and Hunt

On Tuesday, North Carolinians voted in favor of adding the Right to Hunt and Fish Amendment to their state constitution. NMMA supported the new amendment, which will provide permanent protections for the state’s anglers, hunters, and sportsmen and women by ensuring that laws regulating hunting and fishing will be genuine conservation efforts based upon sound science.

North Carolina becomes the 22nd state to enshrine the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife in their constitution. NMMA thanks those who voted in favor of the Right to Hunt and Fish Amendment.
