Saltwater Fishing Expo Sees 15 Percent Jump in Attendance at New Edison, NJ Location
The Progressive® Insurance Saltwater Fishing Expo ended its three-day run on Sunday, March 18 at its new location – the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison, NJ – with a total of 13,095 attendees, up 15 percent from 2017. The new venue received positive reviews from both attendees and exhibitors, and exhibitors reported strong sales.
The 2018 Saltwater Fishing Expo nearly doubled its footprint with the move from the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, NJ to the larger, more centrally-located Edison, NJ location. Highlights from the 2018 show included more fishing tackle and gear exhibits, a variety of new seminars and educational elements including the new Fishing 101 Interactive Learning Center, and activities for anglers of all ages and skill levels.
